Deliu, an accomplished Australian pilot now based in the United States, brings with him a remarkable resume that includes championship titles in the Air Masters Cup Series and the Sky Grand Prix , as well as record-breaking placements at the World Aerobatics Championships . With more than 7,700 flight hours in over 67 different aircraft types, his dynamic performance combines precision, power, and innovation. “Aarron Deliu brings an unmatched energy and skill to the sky,” said Denise Dull, President of the Florida International Air Show. “We are thrilled to welcome him to Punta Gorda. His international achievements and passion for aviation promise a breathtaking performance that our fans will never forget. Punta Gorda, FL — The Florida International Air Show is thrilled to welcome Warbird Thunder to its 2025 lineup, scheduled for November 1–2 at the Punta Gorda Airport. This marks an electrifying return of the North American SNJ Texan — also known as “Ol Growler” — to Southwest Florida’s skies. Warbird Thunder promises an awe-inspiring aerial performance, featuring two SNJ Texans soaring in formation with their signature roar, smoke trails, and engaging aerobatic maneuvers like formation loops, aileron rolls, barrel rolls, and Cuban Eights. The show concludes with stunning opposing aerobatics as the planes separate and then reunite for a dramatic finale. “Warbird Thunder brings a unique mix of history, heritage, and heart-stopping aerobatics,” said Denise Dull, President of the Florida International Air Show . “When those Texans thunder overhead, it’s not just entertainment — it’s a living tribute to the aviators who paved the way for modern flight.
