Meet the Director of Volunteers

Constance (Connie) Hite

My name is Connie Hite, I was born and raised in Indiana, I have lived in Washing DC, New York and finally landed in Southwest Florida. I am a retired Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, having served twenty-eight (28) years in Federal Law Enforcement. I have extensive experience in coordinating personnel and logistics for Presidential Inaugurations, United Nations General Assembly and multiple other world stage events. My experience is a perfect fit, as the Director of Volunteers, I will be coordinating approximately 800 volunteers needed to make the Florida International Air Show a success.

In 2019, I began my second career in aviation and within 3 years I became a Certified Flight Instructor for Paragon Flight Training Co.  In such a short time, I have had many opportunities in aviation.  In 2022, I was part of the Birds of Paragon racing team, we won fasted Piper aircraft and second place overall in the all-women cross-country Air Race Classic. I am currently Chairman of Paradise Coast 99s, a local chapter of the women pilot organization, Ninety-Nines; and a member of Women in Aviation local Tampa Bay chapter. I love bringing awareness to the vast opportunities available to anyone in the field of aviation, no matter what their age may be.
